Master your mind
“Mindset separates the best from the rest: the right mindset drives the right habits, which drive the right performance.”

Mindset training
We live in a physical world and we use our five senses to make sense of our lives. However, we can’t see the mind, which is why it can feel intangible and difficult to understand. We often forget that everything we want out of life starts with a thought or an emotion. Things don’t just happen to us; our actions and output are down to our mindset. This is why understanding how the mind works and how we can change it is so important.
As an Elite Mindset Coach, I’m interested in two core areas. Firstly, how to train your body - ways you can change your nutrition and movement to boost your performance too. Secondly, how to harness your mindset to reach your goals. You can’t have one without the other - the two approaches work in harmony together. Let me explain why working with your mindset is vital.
Thinking into results
I will help you identify the key areas in your life where you need to develop or change your mindset, with the help of techniques that will rewire the way you think.
Neuroscience has given us the finding called neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to change and adapt itself by creating new neural pathways, and also disconnecting pathways which are no longer used.
Encouraging the brain’s neuroplasticity is the key to learning, emotional intelligence and thriving in life. It helps the brain remain open-minded, intuitive and able to overcome biases throughout our working lives.
For the brain to rewire itself, it needs sustained practice of a new behaviour. Repetition is therefore key. This challenges the brain to think in a new way.
To create new neural pathways or strengthen existing ones, I use a combination of different approaches, often including all of the below:
• Exercises to review and audit your habits
• Techniques to shift your mindset
• How to identify the obstacles in your life
• Ways to cultivate positive thoughts and gratitude
• How to find focus through setting a vision and goals
• Guidance on working with negative thinking patterns
• Meditation and mindful living approaches to explore self
• Mindful approaches to release old habits and create new ones
• Education on everyday neuroscience and how the mind works
A study by Sala Horowitz, PhD (2010) proves that mindfulness is a compelling approach for reducing stress, anxiety, anger, chronic pain disorders, substance abuse, memory loss, and trauma. The same research also shows that meditation results in significant physical and mental health benefits after as little as eight weeks of daily practice.
You’ll leave with a host of approaches to take away and put into practice, alongside full support throughout the process. If you get your mindset right, everything else falls into place. In addition to this, you’ll also learn a range of body work tools to enhance your performance. You’re responsible for the results you create.
Remember, your life is as good as your mindset.
